Daily Devotional Bible Readings in accordance with The Biblical Hebrew Calendar
In Time with God invites the reader to explore the scriptural feasts and seasons through Bible readings that are specially selected for each day of the Biblical Calendar Year.
The Biblical Calendar follows the lunar cycle, where the new moon marks the first day of each month, and the Biblical Feasts of Passover, Weeks and Tabernacles are connected to specific harvest times in the Land of Israel. The year begins with the month containing Passover and the beginning of the barley harvest.
As the reader journeys through the Biblical Year, it will be seen how certain days, feasts and seasons of scripture reveal profound truths which relate to our own lives and to God’s plan of redemption.
The author studied Theology at Avery Hill College, London, and taught English to refugees and asylum seekers in the inner city. She studied Hebrew in Jerusalem and served at Christ Church and the Garden Tomb. Her four years in Jerusalem inspired her study for this book, as she observed the Jewish people keeping the feasts and and seasons of the Biblical Calendar.
