Knowing the purpose or reason for something gives you power and authority – you gain an advantage. Praise and Worship is a mighty vehicle, a blessing and also a weapon, but only if we fully understand what the Scriptures teach on this important subject.
Psalm 47: 5-8
God has gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.
Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our King, sing praises!
For God is the King of all the earth; Sing praises with understanding.
God reigns over the nations; God sits on His holy throne.

Praise and Worship is not just something we know about, or experience individually or in a corporate group setting, but it must also be applied to our everyday lives. Living out worship principles practically is demonstrated, taught and encouraged. Lifestyle application is often the most difficult thing to apply from any teaching point.
