Rejoice and Bloom
This scarf, titled “Rejoice and Bloom” is inspired by the scripture from Isaiah 35:1
“The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus, it will burst into bloom; it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy.”
This scarf is a companion to the “Rejoice and Blossom” peony scarf. It was created from the peony design being photographed and transformed into a new blossom that was multiplied over the entire surface of the scarf representing a new work of transformation and restoration through covenant with the Lord. It serves as a visual declaration to the atmosphere surrounding us that the Lord is breaking through the desert places and raising us up as a living demonstration of His glory and goodness and creative beauty.
The text on the scarf in English, Chinese, and Hebrew declare that the next ten years we will see the Lord uniquely connect us and our identity with His name Yahweh or Yah, “I AM” the one who covenants with you. As God’s people, we will learn to move with Him and hear Him so He can transform us, bless us and the landscape around us.
The Chinese character on the scarf is the English word “Hua” a name worn by Chinese people for several millennia. The Lord wants to connect the identity of the Hua (pronounced HWaH) with His covenant name Yahweh or Yah. Thus being known as the Yah-Hua! Or the phrase Yah-Hua-Yah; surrounded by covenant!
